Terms of Service
Last updated 3 November 2026
These terms apply when you add the Shieldbug bot to a Discord server or use this dashboard. By doing either, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Shieldbug.
1. Who can use Shieldbug
You must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and be old enough to use Discord in your country. If you use Shieldbug for a server, you confirm you are allowed to manage that server.
2. What Shieldbug does
Shieldbug is a Discord bot and dashboard that helps protect ER:LC roleplay servers and design servers. Some features are still being built and may change, appear later or be removed.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only connect ER:LC servers you own or are allowed to manage, and keep your API key private.
- Don’t use Shieldbug to harass people, break Discord or Roblox rules, or break the law.
- Don’t try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around limits of the bot or dashboard.
- You are responsible for the settings you choose and the actions the bot takes because of them.
4. Availability
We work to keep Shieldbug running, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees. It can go down, miss an event or make a mistake. Security tools reduce risk, they can’t remove it. Current status is on the status page.
5. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, damage to your server, lost members or any indirect loss caused by using or not being able to use Shieldbug.
6. Ending use
You can stop at any time by removing the bot and logging out. We may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
7. Not affiliated
Shieldbug is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Discord, Roblox or Police Roleplay Community.
8. Privacy
How we handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and announce big changes on our support server. Using Shieldbug after a change means you accept the new terms.
